I was first introduced to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® years ago when attending an annual charity event. I sat in awe as I listened to these incredible stories of children battling life-threatening illness—both the challenges they were facing and the strength and joy with which they preserved through the unthinkable moved me beyond words.
I knew I wanted to help grant children’s wishes in any way I could—and I believed the best place to start was on a grassroots level in my local community. Through a bit of fate, Make-A-Wish Southern Nevada CEO Caroline Ciocca came into the studio one day, and we formed an instant connection. From that, the Dee Berkley Jewelry x Make-A-Wish Foundation® line was born.
